Wolf Ridge Ski Resort

Due to predictions of possible thunder storms in the area for Friday, we will be planning to reopen on Saturday, March 3rd. Our new tube run will still be in operation all week (barring thunder storms) and running the $10 special. For information, please contact Tim at 828-778-6115.

Skiing may be shut down for a few days but our New Tube Run is in full operation AND they are running an extra-special Special - just $10! If you haven't been there yet, take Exit 3 off Interstate 26, right at the ramp, right at the stop sign onto old Highway 23. Take the second right, then first right. With the weather we are having, there is no better time to have some slip-sliding fun!

Wolf Ridge will be closed Monday through Thursday this week. We will reopen on Friday, March 2nd and run through Sunday, March 4th. We hope you will join us as the 2011/2012 season winds down.

Although the day is starting off very warm, we have a prediction of cooling temperatures throughout the day and snow showers tonight, going through tomorrow morning. So, come on out for a great day of skiing and, while you are here, help us do a little snow dance! We look forward to seeing you on the slopes!

Snow moved in yesterday afternoon and produced almost two inches of new snow on the ground. Today we will have sunny skies and mild temperatures in the high 30s. Take advantage of the last day of the long Holiday weekend and come join us for great fun on the slopes!

Predictions are for Winter weather to return today with a possible 2-4" coming over the course of the day and night. Temperatures are supposed to get colder, although still not bad with a low of around 30. Great news for those of us that enjoy skiing the fresh stuff. Conditions are still great with a good base on the mountain and fresh snowfall will only make it better. With it being a holiday weekend, we will be open of night skiing tonight as well. So, come on out and join us today (and tonight) as it is sure to be a great day on the mountain.

It will be a great day of skiing at The Wolf today with very mild temperatures and partly to mostly sunny weather. We have a solid base on our runs and great conditions. We look forward to you joining us today!

It is the start of President's Day Weekend! For a lot of people, a great time to hit the slopes for a long weekend of fun! We have a great base on the mountain and are looking forward to a great weekend. We will open the Double Chair on an as-needed basis today and first thing tomorrow for regular operation. We will also be re-opening the Ridge Lodge, along with the Ridge Runner slope and lift, for the weekend starting at 5pm today. So, grab the family, pack the car and come on up the mountain for some great winter fun. We look forward to seeing you!
