We have been making snow for the past 36 hours and will be opening for regular sessions today - Day: 9am-4:30pm - Night: 6pm-10pm. We will have two lifts running - The Magic Carpet and the double-chair (to mid-station). Please check the Ski Report page for details. We hope you will come out and join us as it should be a beautiful day at The Wolf.

Wolf Ridge will be kicking off the 2011-2012 season tomorrow - Thursday, December 29th. We have had consistently cold temperatures since last night and have been making snow all day. We will have Broadway and Goin' South open and hope you will join us! See you on the slopes!

Well, Santa was a little stingy with the Wolf's Christmas wish-list. But, we finally have some prime snowmaking temperatures and we are making the best of it. If the guys over at Ray's Weather are right, we should be able to run the snowmakers straight through early Thursday morning. With a little luck, we will be open before the weekend. Be sure to check back here over the next 24 hours for updates. We look forward to seeing all of you soon!

While the weather report does show lower temperatures over the next several days, there are no predictions of snow in the forecast. With any luck, the temps will get low enough for us to make our own and we will update here if and when that happens. In the meantime, from all of us to all of you - have a very merry and please travel safely. We look forward to seeing you on the slopes soon (if anyone knows a snow dance....).

Unfortunately, due to unseasonably warm weather, The Wolf is not currently open. With colder weather expected over Christmas weekend, we have hopes of being able to make snow over Christmas and possibly open early next week. Keep your fingers crossed, do a little snow dance and keep checking back here for updates as we have them. We hope to see you on the slopes soon!

Mother Nature has finally cut us some slack and we have been able to begin making snow. With the temperature inversion finally going away, we were able to turn on the snow guns yesterday afternoon and run all night. We expect to be able to continue for a few more hours and, hopefully, again tonight. The weather forecast for the week doesn't look too good right now with highs up to 60 and lows only in the mid-to-high 30s so keep your fingers crossed that the weather man is wrong. Check back here for updates as the week progresses. We look forward to getting our season underway.

When lows are only in the mid-40s, you begin to wonder if ski season will ever arrive. However, experience says it always gets here in its own time - and we are getting ready! We are anxiously awaiting the 2011/2012 season and have been busy getting our snowmakers ready, getting our rental department into tip-top shape, making plans for the terrain park and everything else in preparation for a fantastic time of skiing and snowboarding on the mountain. If the weather report holds true, we may be able to get some snow down by the end of the week, hopefully in time for the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for some cooler temperatures! Check back here for more updates as we get them.
